The flight school, which began operations in May, is based at Mid-Way Airport in Midlothian, Texas. It features a skilled team including Colin Owen (COO), Paige Kirkland (Chief Flight Instructor), Ben Cammack (Certified Flight Instructor), and Edgar Williams (Ground School Specialist).

Mission Statement

The mission of Aviator Academy of Texas is to bring a younger generation into the world of aviation. Our non-profit organization and the donations received from training allow us to fund opportunities for the next generation aviators. Whether it is a hobby or a future profession, the world of aviation gives meaning and responsibility to our younger generation.

Core Values

SAFETY - We focus on practical safety. Working with Single Pilot Resource Management and Aeronautical Decision Making to ensure safe flying during training and beyond.

LIFE-LONG LEARNER MINDSET - We focus on teaching and learning. Aviation has procedures and methods that remain constant yet incorporates evolving techniques to meet modern methods and laws. We strive to teach our students but this requires us to constantly learn.

DEDICATION TO FUTURE AVIATION - All training is done with professionalism and pride, because our success as a flight school gives us continued success to reach our young aviators and give our next generation a chance to see the wonders of the world from the view of a cockpit.
